Cabling Survey

We will perform a secondary survey of your facility in order to identify the cabling needs for the wireless LAN.

  1. Determine MDF (Main Distribution Frames) and IDF (Intermediate Distribution Frames) on the network
  2. Determine cable pathways to each Access Point Plan cable runs and requisite cable mounting hardware
  3. Determine material needs

Post-Project Approval

Run Cables to Access Point Locations

Our technicians will install the Ethernet cabling and cable the Cat5e and Cat6 cabling in a neat and concealed manner, if possible

Install Access Points and Head-end Equipment

  1. Install security enclosures where necessary
  2. Install antennas and connect them to Access Points
  3. Connect Backbone LAN to Access Points

Calibrate and Verify Operation

  1. Firmware configuration
  2. Verfication of radio channel, SSID, bit rate
  3. IP address configuration
  4. Proper operation with existing network
